Here’s and interesting statistic (per Network Solutions)—65% of consumers believe a custom email address is more credible than a free email account. No surprise there . . . I’ve been writing about this for years. For instance, see a recent post on November 21st.

So, as Network Solutions quite correctly concludes, you can improve your reputation just by having a branded email address. Therefore, if you don’t associate your email with your website (assuming you have an active website —but that’s another topic for later), you can now have an email address that reflects your business name through Gmail. In other words, it will look like this . . . yourname@yourdomain.com.

It’s available through Google Workspace. And it’s worth investigating if your business email address is still through a free service like “@hotmail” or “@gmail.”
