As you may know, FedEx conducts business surveys that often produce interesting and insightful findings.

One such finding from a few years ago was highlighted by Roland. It’s worth revisiting because of its potential value when discussing the effectiveness of storefront signs with potential customers. As Roland reported: “The effectiveness of outdoor signage is supported by data results from a popular FedEx survey, revealing that 76% of people enter a store or business based on its sign, and 60% of the public are deterred from entering a store or business if it doesn’t have a quality sign.”

Those are significant numbers. They should remove any doubts about the effectiveness of storefront signage.
